F.A.Q.
I started my perfume journey mixing and storing my first aroma materials in the closet of my voice-over studio. That's the namesake. I didn't like how the word looked, however, so I took out the vowels and found myself staring back at the name of the band I started when I was 15 years old. How's that for synchronicity?
Ordering & Shipping - How do?
Orders are packed up within 24 hours, shipped via USPS Ground, at least twice a week, throughout the United States (for now).
Customer Pick-Up - Howdy, Neighbor!
If you go this route, please wait for an email confirming your order and providing you with a pick-up time and address. Or I'll hand-deliver it to you. Whichever works.
Returns - Do you do?
Due to the nature of shipping "hazardous goods", we do not accept returns. If your item is incorrect or damaged during shipping, feel free to reach out.
There isn't much to be done if you do not like the fragrance. Samples are available for that exact reason. Reviews (both favorable and unfavorable) are posted for the benefit of the blind buyer.
Sold out - Say what?
CLST is a micro-batch artisan perfume house, run by a singular person. If in the event a product sells out, rest assured another batch is already maturing or macerating, and getting ready to go.
Allergies - What's inside the box?
If you are allergic to a specfic materials or ingredients, please reach out prior to ordering and we'll figure out what works. All CLST perfumes are alcohol-based, and all CLST formulas fall in line with the latest FDA (MoCRA) updates, IFRA amendments and EU saftey ratings.
Social Media - (¬_¬)
@CLSTPRFMS on Instagram, TikTok & BlueSky - that is it. If you find that name elsewhere, it's not us (unless specified here).
Custom Fragrance - Possible or impossible?
I haven't made a custom fragrance for anyone or any other company...yet! Feel free to contact me and we can begin a dialogue.
Do you have any stockists?
CLST is proud to be stocked in the following locations:
Refinery Fragrances - 1101 Chapel Ave #106, Nashville, TN 37206
If you find CLST perfumes anywhere else or in any other form for sale, proceed with caution (and please let me know).
Do you want to "collaborate"?
"To collaborate" means "to work jointly with others or together especially in an intellectual endeavor". Please correct me if I'm misunderstanding this, but each person that has asked me this question has only been asking for free samples to be sent to them in exchange for a review. Thank you for the interest, but every single CLST review out there has been from someone who has made a purchase from here (or a stockist) OR who has been gifted/traded samples from someone who has purchased from here. 100% organic reviews. Those folks typically get freebies, sneak peeks, discount codes, and in the best cases, friendship!
Do I want to (actually) collaborate on a perfume for your company? Mayhaps!
Next Release - ETA?
R/I/L/E - Initially set for Sept. 21st before hitting packaging setbacks, this is a 4x10ml set of the four accords that make up Rile: The Forest, The Incense, The Fields and The Beast. ETA UPDATE: 11/01/25!
CLST - You still didn't answer me...
Back in my youth, "CLST" was a lyrical reference to a glitzy & glamorous Southwestern metropolis at night. Then it became a harsh sounding near-vulgarity that matched the music of the band.
Now, just take a look at the header and decide what feels right (if you don't wish to call it "Closet"). You don't have to capitalize it either. Clst will do just fine.
